Abana reduces the sensitivity of the heart to adrenergic stimulation. Abana improves the contractility of the heart by exerting a positive inotropic action and is useful during a stroke. Thus Abana produces cardioprotection.
Abana tablets can be useful in hyperlipidemic conditions, mild to moderate hypertension as an adjuvant in the therapy of angina with cardiac risk factors and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions requiring inhibition of platelet aggregation.
