Vermox Generic Mebendazole, a broad-based anthelmintic, is used in the treatment of various worm diseases Enterobiasis [Pinworm], Threadworm, Trichuriasis [Whipworm], Ascariasis [Common Roundworm], and Hookworm. Mebendazole destroys the parasitic worms in the body by blocking the glucose uptake without which these worms perish.
Besides Mebendazole which is the active ingredient in Vermox, the inactive ingredients are anhydrous lactose NF, sodium starch glycolate, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium saccharin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, corn starch, tetrarome orange and FD&C Yellow # 6.
